Big news for all our lovely Frome visitors:
Starting from our next market on July 11th, the monthly Frome Farmers’ Market is moving from Boyle Cross to alongside the Weekly Market at the Market Yard, BA11 1BE.
Why? Partly, we’re running out of space to take on new traders. On invitation from Frome’s Weekly Market (now run by Frome Town Council) to spread our wings, and having piloted two markets with them at Market Yard this year (February and June), this makes the most sense for traders and shoppers. In partnership with Frome Town Council, we’re fully invested in contributing to Frome’s vibrant and historical market culture.
By the way, we aren’t changing the calendar – the market will continue to run every second Saturday of every month. And we’ll continue to be at Boyle Cross for our SFM @ The Frome Independent (TFI) markets on every first Sunday of the month.
We’ll miss the atmosphere we enjoyed over the last four years at Boyle Cross, but we’re looking forward to exploring what kind of collaborative market we can build at Market Yard.
