Out of her flat in Frome, in her spare time Babington pastry chef Julia Perella runs Hoolee’s Goodies, a patisserie dolling out all kinds of delights such as cakes, biscuits, ice cream sandwiches, and savoury pastries.

Julia, however, has a special penchant for dulce de lece, which she bakes into her Argentinian alfajores, among other things. She also incorporates seasonal fruit and aromatics when she can.
