Microgreens are young vegetable greens that are highly nutritious, easy to grow and great for the environment. Studies have shown that microgreens contain up to 40 times more nutrients than mature leaves of the same plant. Microgreens come in a wide range of colours, textures and tastes and take between 7 and 14 days to grow. Their aromatic taste makes them perfect for salads, pizzas and garnishes, or blended into a smoothie. And because you can grow them on your windowsill, they become a great learning tool for children. Helping to teach them about growing plants, sustainability and the importance of getting the right nutrients and vitamins.
All our seeds are sourced from 100% non-GMO organic suppliers, and we grow all our microgreens hydroponically. All microgreens are grown on a coco coir medium, meaning there’s no soil for you to rinse off. And because you receive your microgreens still attached to the coco coir, they stay fresh and nutritious far longer than pre-cut microgreens.
