Over the last 12 years, Gothelney Farm has transitioned from a commodity-led approach to an agroecological one, reimaging a new small farm future where farms feed people justly and regenerate the landscape rather than operate at the behest of an extractive system.
Gothelney intermingles pigs and grain as part of that solution. At the market, you’ll find Dan the butcher selling items such as sausages, bacon, chops, and – what is quickly earning a reputation – their coppa steaks.
