Festive Farmers’ Markets coming up

Wells Market is on Wednesday 10th December with all the regulars plus newcomers, the Bath Soft Cheese Company, whose soft blue cheese, Bath Blue, recently collected the World Champion Trophy at the 2014 World Cheese Awards.

We’re also at Frome and Keynsham this coming Saturday 13th December.

The Frome Farmers’ Market is at the Cheese & Grain from 9am to 1pm and whether you’re ordering a turkey, stocking up on cheeses or exploring the great present buying opportunities, you’ll find a wide range of stalls to choose from. Try Somerset Lavender, Avalon Wines, Loganberry Soaps or Dusty Ape Coffee for great stocking fillers. Mrs Westbrook’s Cookery School is also returning with seasonal cookery demonstrations and cooking advice … their lessons could make a perfect gift.  The extra Frome Christmas Market is on Tuesday 23rd December 5pm to 7.30pm.

Over at Keynsham we’re celebrating Christmas in the Ashton Way Car Park with the Keynsham Brass Band, but will be bringing in the New Year in our new Market Walk location in the new centre of Keynsham on 10th January.

We’ve been busy preparing for the festive season … Keynsham Country Markets will be offering Christmas cakes, puddings, mince pies and gift packs of their delicious preserves. Somerset Charcuterie have developed a range of festive products including mulled wine salami, single salami/chorizo in gift boxes and a selection of hampers. Bath Soft Cheese have put together a tasty gift pack containing all three of their award winning cheeses. A Lot A Choc will make up a bespoke hamper to suit all tastes and K&M Confectionery can also take orders for an increasing range of fudges and traditional gingerbread houses. StrEAT Greek will be back with their Greek inspired range including their popular gift boxes of Greek Delight, and Taylors Bakery have been busy expanding their festive range of bread.  Turkeys can be ordered from Chewton Farm for collection nearer the day.

The new 2015 venue postcards with next year’s dates will be available at all of the markets, courtesy of our sponsors Mogers Drewett solicitors.
